What Is the GuardianWatch Fund?
The GuardianWatch Fund is Sentinel VI Foundation's emergency relief program. It provides microgrants of up to $5,000 to eligible veterans, first responders, and their immediate family members who are facing acute financial hardship. Unlike traditional grant programs with lengthy review cycles, GuardianWatch is built for speed — with a target response time of 48 hours from application to decision.
Who Is Eligible?
Eligibility extends to military veterans of any branch, active and retired first responders including law enforcement, fire, and EMS professionals, and their immediate family members. Applicants must demonstrate a verifiable service history and an acute financial need related to one of the following categories:
- Housing instability or risk of eviction
- Unexpected medical or dental expenses
- Essential transportation repairs
- Utility disconnection prevention
- Emergency travel for family crisis situations
How It Works
The process is straightforward. Complete the intake form on our Apply page, selecting "Emergency Relief" as your program type. Our review team — staffed by veterans who understand the urgency — will verify your eligibility and assess your situation. If approved, funds are disbursed directly to the applicant or to the relevant service provider.
