Welcome to the Sentinel VI Foundation website (the "Site"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Site at sentinel-vi.org and any associated services. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. About the Organization

Sentinel Six, Inc - A VALORtech.AI Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Washington D.C. Our mission is to provide operational support for military veterans, first responders, and their families through scholarships, emergency relief, mental health programs, and legacy endowments. All references to "Sentinel Six," "Sentinel VI," "we," "us," or "our" in these Terms refer to Sentinel Six, Inc - A VALORtech.AI Foundation.

3. Use of the Website

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, or any connected systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any forms on the Site

• Scrape, data-mine, or otherwise extract content from the Site without prior written consent

4. Donations

Sentinel VI Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Donations made through our Site are processed by PayPal and may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You will receive a confirmation of your donation for your records.

• Tax Deductibility: Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. We recommend consulting your tax advisor for specific guidance.
• Payment Processing: All donation payments are securely processed through PayPal. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information.
• Refund Policy: If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us at info@sentinel-vi.org within 30 days of the transaction. We will review your request and process refunds on a case-by-case basis.
• Use of Funds: Donations are allocated across our programs as described on our website, unless a donor specifies a particular program designation.

5. Nominations

Our Hero Highlights program allows community members to nominate veterans and first responders for recognition. Nominations are submitted through JotForm and are subject to the following:

• By submitting a nomination, you represent that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You grant Sentinel VI Foundation the right to feature the nominated individual in our Hero Highlights program, on our website, and in promotional materials related to our mission.
• We reserve the right to accept, decline, or edit any nomination at our sole discretion.
• Nominations do not guarantee selection or publication.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, videos, design elements, and software, is the property of Sentinel VI Foundation or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The Sentinel VI name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of the Sentinel VI Foundation. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from this Site without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use such as sharing links to our content on social media.

7. User-Submitted Content

By submitting any content to us through forms on our Site, including but not limited to contact messages, program applications, nominations, and testimonials, you grant Sentinel VI Foundation a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with our mission, programs, and promotional activities.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit the content and that the content does not violate any third party's rights.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, MATERIALS, AND SERVICES PROVIDED ON OR THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENTINEL VI FOUNDATION DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content on the Site.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SENTINEL VI FOUNDATION, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00).
