Today marks a defining moment in our commitment to those who have served. The Sentinel VI Foundation has officially launched as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, headquartered in Washington D.C., with a singular mission: to ensure no hero walks alone.
Why Sentinel VI Exists
Every year, thousands of veterans and first responders face challenges that extend far beyond the battlefield or the frontline. Housing instability, career transition difficulties, mental health struggles, and financial hardship are realities for far too many of those who have given so much. Sentinel VI Foundation was created to bridge the gap between service and support.
Our founding board, led by Executive Director Matthew Young — a decorated U.S. Air Force combat veteran and former law enforcement officer — brings decades of combined military, technology, and nonprofit leadership experience to this mission.
Our Core Programs
- Sentinel Scholars: Scholarships of up to $10,000 for higher education, technical certifications, and career transition training.
- GuardianWatch Fund: Emergency microgrants of up to $5,000 with a 48-hour response time for veterans and first responders in crisis.
- SixStrong Resilience: Mental health and peer support programs designed to restore hope and rebuild strength.
- Memorial Endowment Circle: A legacy program honoring fallen heroes through perpetual scholarships and memorial initiatives.
