Years of specialized training and frontline experience do not always translate directly into civilian credentials, and the cost of education can feel like an insurmountable barrier. The Sentinel Scholars program exists to change that equation.
Investing in the Next Chapter
Sentinel Scholars provides grants of up to $10,000 for higher education, technical certifications, and career transition training. The program is open to military veterans, first responders, and their immediate family members who demonstrate both financial need and a commitment to advancing their education or professional skills.
What the Scholarship Covers
- Tuition and fees for accredited colleges and universities
- Technical certification programs including IT, healthcare, and skilled trades
- Career transition boot camps and professional development courses
- Books, materials, and equipment required for coursework
Applications are reviewed on a 60-day cycle, and recipients are selected based on a combination of service history, financial need, and the strength of their educational plan. Our goal is not just to fund a semester — it is to invest in a future.

Beyond the financial grant, Sentinel Scholars recipients gain access to a network of veteran and first responder professionals who have successfully navigated the transition. Mentorship, career guidance, and peer support are integral parts of the program, because we believe that education works best when it is paired with community.
