Sentinel Six

Standing Guard for Those Who Served

Founded by VALORtech.AI, Sentinel Six is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting military veterans, first responders, and their families. Through comprehensive programs including education, emergency assistance, career development, and community engagement, we honor those who have served by providing resources to thrive in their personal and professional lives. Sentinel Six is built on the vision of creating a nation where no hero feels left behind and opportunities abound for all who wore the uniform.

Mission & Vision
Mission:

Sentinel Six, the nonprofit foundation launched by ValorTech.AI, is committed to standing unwavering guard over those who’ve served. We exist to uplift, empower, and walk alongside those who have worn the uniform - military veterans, first responders, and their families. Through education, emergency assistance, career development, and community building, Sentinel Six honors the legacy of service by investing in the people who have given so much to protect and serve others.

Vision:

To serve as the nation’s most trusted sentry for veterans and first responders in transition and to become a nationwide catalyst for hope and renewal in the lives of America’s heroes. Sentinel Six envisions a world where veterans and first responders have access to the tools, support, and opportunities they need to thrive - professionally, emotionally, and personally.
Why We Stand Watch
Sentinel Six was born from both memory and mission. For founder Eric Wimer - a U.S. Army veteran and former helicopter pilot - service didn’t end with the uniform. It became a lifelong calling to stand watch over the heroes who protect our country and communities. From combat zones to emergency rooms, Eric witnessed the sacrifice ... and the silence that often follows.

He wasn’t alone. Each founding member carries a personal tie to service - spouses, siblings, children, and parents who wore the badge or the uniform. They understand the cost of duty and the quiet struggle that lingers once the applause fades.

Together at VALORtech.AI, they transformed that belief into action - launching Sentinel Six as a nonprofit foundation committed to restoring dignity, opportunity, and purpose to those who have served. What began as mission-critical work evolved into a movement.

Today, Sentinel Six is more than a nonprofit. It is a shield. A lifeline. A promise. Whether through scholarships, emergency assistance, mental health retreats, or legacy endowments, we serve as sentries for those who have served us. We carry forward a legacy of guardianship - not just in memory, but in motion.

Because in the fight for transition, restoration, and purpose, no hero should walk alone. Sentinel Six is here to ensure they never do.

Empowering Heroes
Your service deserves enduring support

Sentinel Scholars Initiative: "Fund a Scholar. Forge a Future."

Each scholarship is more than tuition - it’s a tribute. Our support reflects the enduring honor of service and opens the door to a new chapter of leadership. * Annual merit- and need-based scholarships awarded to veterans and first responders pursuing higher education or technical certifications. * Priority consideration for dependents of Gold Star families and service-disabled veterans. * Focus areas: Data science, cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, public administration, and mental health services.

Tech Readiness Track: "Equip a Veteran. Change a Life."

* Free or subsidized enrollment in short-term certification programs (AWS, Oracle, CompTIA, PMP). * Mentorship and job placement support in collaboration with VALORtech.AI and its partners. * Apprenticeship programs that provide real-world experience and a pathway to permanent employment.

GuardianWatch Emergency Fund: "Be the Bridge in Their Darkest Hour."

We stand watch when others no longer can. GuardianWatch is a shield of support during life’s fiercest storms - a tangible expression of guardianship for those who’ve given everything to protect others. * Rapid-deployment microgrants (typically $500–$3,000) to assist with housing stability, medical expenses, transportation, or funeral costs. * Built-in referral pipeline to national and regional veteran support programs for follow-up aid. * Disaster-specific relief campaigns during national emergencies or local incidents impacting veterans or first responders.

SixStrong Transition & Resilience: "Restore Resilience. Rebuild Hope."

Transition isn’t a single moment - it’s a journey. From battlefield to back office, from chaos to clarity - we walk it with them. * Peer-led group support for mental health, transition to civilian life, and substance recovery. * Faith-based and secular retreat options, focused on restoration and purpose-building. * Hosted workshops for families of veterans and first responders to strengthen relationships, process trauma, and promote healing. Restoration begins when someone shows up - and stays. Our SixStrong community is where healing begins, and purpose is rekindled.

Sentinel Six Memorial Endowment Circle "Honor a Legacy. Fuel a Future."

There are names we carry in our hearts long after they’ve fallen silent. The Sentinel Six Memorial Endowment Circle exists to turn memory into movement - to ensure the legacy of our heroes lives on through scholarships, tributes, and lasting impact. Whether in honor of a fallen comrade, a retiring veteran, or a beloved first responder, your named endowment becomes a perpetual act of guardianship - restoring purpose and opportunity in someone else’s life while preserving the story of someone you loved. This is not just a donation. It’s an enduring salute. The Sentinel Six Memorial Endowment Circle is a giving program to establish long-term legacy funds in honor of fallen heroes or retired veterans. Supports perpetual scholarships and ceremonial events tied to their name. This is more than remembrance. It is restoration - ensuring the spirit of service continues in the lives it uplifts.

Matthew Young
Executive Director
In every enduring mission, there are leaders whose presence reflects not just strength, but story - a testimony to the very values an organization seeks to uphold. For Sentinel Six - A VALORtech.AI Foundation, that leader is Matthew Young.

Matthew is not only a decorated combat veteran of the United States Air Force, but he is also a servant-leader whose legacy of protection, counsel, and transformation aligns perfectly with the heartbeat of this foundation. Throughout his decorated military career - marked by courage under fire, unwavering integrity, and operational excellence - his distinguished service in law enforcement, and his retirement, Matthew’s daily focus has always been to protect and uplift those around him.

Now, as a Service-Disabled Veteran, Matthew dedicates his time to walking alongside others who have walked through fire - veterans returning from conflict, first responders struggling with trauma, and families navigating the unseen toll of service. His life is not just one of service - it is one of restoration. In every sense, Matthew embodies the Sentinel spirit.

Matthew doesn’t just understand the transition from chaos to clarity - he lives it, models it, and empowers others to achieve it. His leadership will ensure that Sentinel Six not only honors the legacy of service but actively restores dignity, direction, and resilience to those we serve.
